    PREMIERE 7.0 & TMPGEnc problem

    I have a problem,

.AVI Files created whit Premiere6.5 are working PERFECT in TMPGEnc.

But when i make the same .AVI file whit Premiere7.0 and import that .AVI into TMPGEnc and export it into a .MPG then i only have sound, the whole movie is gone/black

All .avi files made whit premierepro 6.5 are working perfect,
    -----------

I capture from my Camcorder whit Premierepro, and save it as a uncompressed DV .avi its about 13GB for one hour film.

Then i edit it, add sound, move and delete some things, and export the whole .avi as a DV .avi.

Whit TMPGEnc i wane export this .AVI file into a DVD .MPG file for burning on a DVD+rw.
Files made whit PREMIEREpor 6.5 are working whitout problem, only the files made whit premierepro 7/0 have this strange blackscreen problem.

Anyone know this problem, and "if there is" a sollution for it. ??

    Thanks..

Adobe premiere is splitting your files have you checked the file size.(Is it the same or reduced)

Files are the same, again, i can play .avi files whitout any problem whit Mediaplayer created both whit 6.5 and 7.0.
Only the 7.5 files give me a blackscreen.

Think i found some explanation on TMPGEnc something about DV1 format can't be read whit TMPGEnc !!! so why can it read PREMIERE 6.5 .avi files and 7.0 NOT ??

      thx..

Why don't you just stick with premierepro 6.5?

Ormonde thats not the point if he prefers 7.0 let him do so the only difference is that hey may require to set different settings
since he upgraded to 7.0 if he is not able to figure that out just try sufing Adobe Premire's WEB.

I was not trying to suggest that they revert back to just using 6.5. Why not incorporate "Both" versions, at least until they figure out what the problem might be in version 7.0, in the meantime use 6.5 if it works.

I'm afraid that its not a problem, normally upgrades are done to solve many defects and bugs all at onve or even change the program's interface. The problem is probably regarding settings
since software like adobe premiere has many setting and features
sometimes it may be diffucult to figure out the problem.

If you need immediate need of the software ,well use 6.5 but that does not tell that you can'y use 7.0.

The problem doesn't seem to be from adobe.Since newer versions of adobe use different or better saving capabilities
sometimes software like TMPGEnc require upgrading it if upgrades still do not exist then you migt have to wait for a future release's or else go back for adobe 6.5.

Thanks, i will make a few more tests.

Files are imported and exported in Adobe P P, whitout any changes.

Even if i import a test avi and save it whitout changes, then i can't open it in TMPGEnc,, Adobe is conferming "???" the avi file when i import them, 6.5 didn't do such thing.

But Premiere7.0 is not the only tool that give me problems.

Avi "DV" files created whit BORIS-RED 2.5 and exported as uncompressed DV avi are also "corupt" in Adobe PP 7.0

I'm not sure if the problem is Premiere or TMPEGnc, but i'm for 80% sure that it is PREMIERE and his "conferming thing" when ya import something.
