Hi,
I've captured some widescreen DV footage in Premiere 6.5 and have a problem with the playback in the timeline window. When hitting the play button, the clip plays in a series of still frames (no audio) rather than a flowing movie. I've checked the AVI in other applications and it plays fine so I assume it's a config/setup thing in Premiere. I've tried playing an MPG in Premiere and that plays fine so it appears to be just the AVI.
Apologies if this is an obvious question but I've searched this forum as well as the Premiere help files without success.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
