    xvid sound problem (diff. from adam iii's)

    i have a laptop and when i try to play any avi file, the sound is screeching, like a feedback noise, but the video is perfect, thanks for any help, if you need any more info, just reply and i'll get back to you as soon as i can

    Do you have a microphone installed to your laptop?
    If this is the case, turn off your microphone with your mixer.
    Just double-click on your mixer Icon and turn off the microphone in the recording menu.
    To make sure whether you have a microphone feedback
    I recommend that you use a headphone set and see if the problem persists.
    Your mixer application can be found at the lower right in your taskbar.


    If this is not the case, I recommend that you look for an appropriate audio driver for your system.
    Maybe there's an update that fixes your problem

      yeah i got it, thanks .. i was thinking .. hmmm, feedback .. built in microphone .. click click, done .. thanks for your help
