    I believe you need to install the DivX 3.11alpha codec, which includes this audio format.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      its not working
      and there is no reason for it to work because of another version of DivX, specially when i have the last version of it.

      There is no connection bitween divx and microsofts WMA v2 audio format

      any other suggestions, please?

        "there is no reason for it to work because of another version of DivX, specially when i have the last version of it.

        At the risk of offending you, you are TOTALLY mistaken. The following information is what you'll see if you rightclick on an AVI file that was encoded using the DivX v.3.11alpha codec (which is NOT related to the versions 4.xxx!) and ITS internal Windows Audio codec:

        "Audio: Windows Media Audio V2, 64 kbps, 44 kHz, stereo

        Video: 640 x 427, 24 Bits, 150864 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 88 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3"

        And just to, hopefully, enlighten you a bit more, if you're using v.4.12 of the "other" DivX (Project Mayo, or OpenDivX), you should have selected "No" when asked , "Do you want to use this codec to play DivX v.3.11 files?"

            "any suggestions?"

            Several come to mind - but I wouldn't want to appear as rude as you've been...

                  I'd like to tell you that this thread helped me a lot too since I had the same problem and downloading v3.11 resolved it right away.

                  Thanks, setarip!
