Help!! I Can't see streaming video on TV

I want to send streaming media from my laptop to my TV, specifically from MLB.com.

The video displays fine on my laptop screen but is just a black box on my TV. I've tried RealPlayer and Windows Media Player but neither one show the video on my TV. I did try a test clip on RealPlayer's website and it actually worked. So far that is the only clip I've been able to see on my TV with either RP or WMP. Can anybody help me?
