I've spent the last 2 hours trying out tons of Xvid codecs, installing one after the other... the problem I'm having is that once the movie opens and starts playing, about 1/4 of the screen on the right hand side is distorted and stretched kinda and full of lines and the audio eventually becomes out of sync... I've tried out numerous movies which I know used to play fine, but now I'm having this problem and it's driving me nuts!! I took a pic with my cam, sorry it's blurry...
I've tried deleting the xvid codec and installing ffdshow, but that didn't work... I suspect by using the "K-Lite Mega Codec Pack" originally is where it went wrong, I tried using the uninstall but it left stuff I'm not sure how to delete everything and start over... I know the file is fine because it's happening with every xvid I download, and I also used GSpot to check to make sure it's ok. Also, I opened it with VirtualDubMod and it looks fine in there.... and I've tried numerous players..... any ideas?
