    xvid codec question

    I dl the newst xvid codec so I could watch this movie (ong bak) only thing is now this movie and any other movie when playing it in windows media player 9 the screen is way to dark.
    I dont know how to change the brightness? I went into the windows media player color setting but it wont let me change the brightness.

    any help would be great.

    nvm, I got it working. I just wish this damn movie was in english.

        Install the gordian knot codec pac...

        this will replace de codecs you have and set all values to their default settings (brightniess contrast, ect,... these value's are to low in your pc config...

        you could probably manually adjust these settings, only this is depending on wich player you use, and/or If you use filters. If you're player allow's to adjust these settings...the problem could be that the settings of the player override the default settings of the codec...

        anyuway In order to avoid wasting lots of time... just instal the gordian knot codec pak...
