it is the way nero has encoded the movie, i had the same problem with a film, nero encoded it for me (took ages to do) and then iplayed it and it stuttered about every 3 seconds. i have found a way around that. I have now started to use TMPEG DVD tools, these allow me to encode AVIs, MPEGs etc to MPEG-2 (DVD video) Then i will use TMPEG DVD Author which makes the DVD with a menu if you want one. it is a good program to use. the maker of the program is Pegasys. the way to get it is to download it. i think it is about 12MB and it took me ages to download due to a bad server connection. don't let that put you off by the way. hope this helps you overcome your problem with the stuttering DVDs.

Are you using the actual DivX codec ?? and if so are you enabling the profiles??

P.S i don't think nero uses the DivX codec to encode with does it??

Thing is you need to encode with the DivX codec (some play XviD i think) for it to be playable with the DivX player (if that's what your using) anyway that's all, just though i'd let you know
