AC3 Playplay Problems With WMP9

Hi

Despite trying several AC3 filters and codecs, I keep having playback issues with WMP9. The picture on files encoded with ac3 sound is jerky and is like watching an old divx movie on an old pc (aka, lots of skipped frames.)

Is there a decent AC3 codec I should be using?

Also, does the video skip frames or only the audio?

As an alternative, try to use Windows Media Player (Classic). I believe you will find it to be more "Stable" than WMP9.
