divx playback not working

almost EVERY video I download does the exact same thing no matter what it is or the size of the file. They are all 62:28 mins long. every one. also, there is NO sound or video except for a small divx symbol that appears in the lower right corner when the video is started, then it fades away. It does this even if you immediatley jump to like half way through the video after you start it.i have done what a post said and used gspot to test one of the files and i have attached the screenshot of what gspot sayd about the file.

help would be greatly appreciated!
