Windows Media/Audio file to DVD

Hi
I need some help guys, and i know someone out there has the answer.

I have some Cartoons on disks, they are in Windows Media Video/Audio file format and I would like to convert them to play on my dvd player. My dvd player plays vcd, mp3, everything. I want to put them onto a dvd-r.

I would like to stick to some freeware programs, because there are only 3 disks.

Does anyone out there know what are the best freeware programs to do this conversion and also some good guides to follow.

If you decide to convert to mp3, there is a program called "dBpowerAMP" that should be able to do the conversion.

I re-read your initial post. Use "TMPGEnc" to convert the Windows Media Video/Audio files to DVD-compliant mpeg 2 files. Use the "Project Wizard" DVD template (NTSC or PAL) to accomplish the task. Then use an "Authoring" program such as "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (different from TMPGEnc) or DVDLab in order to convert the mpeg files to a DVD file structure. (.IFO, .BUP, .VOB)
