i just got the AC3 audio codec because a movie wouldn't play without it. the movie worked only it was really quite and my speakers sounded a little weird. i messed around with some settings and now the audio won't play at all even though the codec is still installed.
can somebody please tell me what to enable/disable in the AC3 configuration so that movies will play using the codec but won't use any of the new garbage settings and features that came with it because i liked my sound just find before i downloaded this crap.
EDIT: by the way, i have an audigy 2 sound card and creative 6.1 speakers which don't even seem to be one of the options
