Missing segment of video in episodes of "Scrubs"

Hi all,

I have got about 10 episodes of the tv series scrubs, some are mpg, some are avi, and for two of them, i can only watch the first few minutes. the video just goes black, and it stops playing (the timer in wmp9 stops). the file size is around 220 mb (which is normal), so i know i do infact have the complete file. i have tried to "fix" the file using programs such as divfix, video fixer, avifxp, and virtualdub/mod.
virtualdub opens it, but then when i seek through the file, it seems it can only read those first 3 minutes. and i am now out of ideas. i'll post what it says in "file information" in virtualdub once i get home. i gotta get these episodes to work they are just hilarious!
