playing WMV files

hi trying to play WMV files that have been downloaded in all about 30 i have WMV9 codecs and WMP9 but when click on file to play comes up with aquirring licence and ither says 1 can not find or correct codecs not installed or can not update the licence as for what i have found out these files are license protected can anyone plz help me now as starting to really get to me and at a loss what i can try

if the files are licenseed, there's not much you can do. the license to play them probably expired or you didnt get it.
