please recommend a good codec configuration

Hi there, would anyone recommend me please of a the a nic e codec combination that can cover up playback for all the sorts of videos ? I know that double installing codecs creates collisions so, if any one has a nice set I`d appreciate it.

Use the latest RadLight, it lets you select preferred decoders for each mediatype i.e it works even on a PC with codec packs
