    DivX Freezing Problems.

    I downloaded Ghost in the Shell in DivX. Filename is Ghost in the shell[divx].avi. After a couple minutes of playback, no matter at what point I start the video, it freezes. The video either goes black or freezes in place and the audio stops as well. DivX Anti-Freeze doesn't fix it.

      Come on people...I really need help. I've narrowed the freezing time to seven minutes exactly...I gave someone else the file and they could watch it just fine. What's the problem? I need help, please!

          Re-install the codec(s). Alternatively, convert the movie to mpeg. Also try a different player. WM 6.4, Yeahplayer, GDIVX, and others.

          Certain hardware/software may be causing conflicts.
