I recently installed new versions or both DivX and XviD. The problem is...I used to be able to play my video files in ATI's file player both as widescreen and fullscreen. I would do this by simply starting the video in the the fullscreen format rather than 200% or 50% ect...I know the problem does not lie within any of the files themselves. I have tried playing files i used to be able to stretch in the fileplayer and they no longer stretch, they stay in widescreen. Also, there is no way to change the aspect ratio (to my knowledge) in ATI's file player like one can in WinAmp or BSPlayer.
