    DVD encoding

I have some movies in multiple formats mainly wmv that i would like to convert to dvd. I tried to use TMPGenc 1.6 but it doesnt work because it says they are in the wrong resoltion and framerate. I tried using oss video converter to convert to the proper resolution and framerate and then using TMPGenc but it looked bad. Are there any programs that can convert straite from wmv or other fromats to DVD and change the resolution automatically. The movies are relatively high quality so i think they should look good.

haven't tried it myself, because personally i HATE wmv, but use the latest version of nerovision express... it seems to be able to convert any type of file under the sun.

    good luck

Try a program called "AVSVideoConverter". It should convert WMV to mpeg-2 and will automatically select the proper framerate and resolution.
