how to change aspect ratio?

i'm trying to burn a dvd. used dvdshrink 3.2 to copy it to the HD. i used a dvd program to watch it on the computer and noticed that the picture quality is lower and blurry compare to original dvd. i think one way to fix this is to change the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9. anyone knows how to fix this?

Sounds like you've simply compressed it too much...

yeah i think so too. dvdshrink had the compression ratio at around 50 percent. i don't know how to raise it. there are some commercials on it that i want to delete but that mean the menu won't be functioning anymore.
