    Newbie needs quick help!!!

Hey all. Here is the scenario I am in:

    -new shrp vlwd255u digital camcorder
    -no software
    -no experience

What I want to do is to record a video, transfer it to my pc, edit the video, and burn it to a dvd disk for use in a standard DVD player.

    1. What is the easiest yet professional software to use for GREAT quality?

    2. Is roxio videowave 7 better to use than adobe priemer?

Thanks everyone for your help. I hope to contribute to the forums once I begin to learn.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Thanks for the info atifsh and sorry for the duplicate posts. I was not sure where to post it.

So do these softwares you suggested produces professional quality movies?

Also, how does the quality of roxio videowave differ?

The reason I ask is because I have been reading and roxio's videowaves had some good reviews. Also, how about adobe?

      Thanks,
      Scott

no idea bout roxio's software, never used it.

3 programs i told u , all give u pro quality. but differs in speed / time the job can be done.

power director and video studio also supports smart rendering, that helps save time during simple editing [removing parts of the movie]

if ur asking bout adobe premiere, well its more suited to advanced users and not that user friendly to work on.
