I am new to video recording and need some help. I have a Sony digital 8 hanycam which I have built into an underwater housing for recording of our diving experiences. I have tried using Imagemixer (provided with the camcorder), windvd (provided with DVD burner) and ulead to convert the recording. I am able to convert to mpg with all of them but when I burn to CD the recording is very choppy ie (from 1/4 to 4 second intervals between displayed images). I am using a USB cable for the data transfer from the camcorder.
My system specs:
800 MHZ P3
512 MB Ram
BENQ DVD burner
tried burning on DVD -R
Norcent CDRW
tried burning on standard CD's
The results were the same with both CD types.
I found Ulead to be extremely slow with the conversion as well as a poorer rendition than I was able to achieve with Imagemixer. Windvd was the fastest for converting and burning but the worst for the broken images.
Can anyone please help me?
