    Newbie/rookie convert dvd to avi or mpeg4

    I need to find a way to convert my dvd movies(shrank and decrypted with dvd shrink) to avi or mpeg4 or wma or wav.Thanks for any and all sugestions

          IMO I would not shrink/compress a dvd if you are converting it to mpeg4. I would rip the movie to hard drive using no compression as you are going to compress the movie converting it to mpeg4. This will leave the original quality intact.
