I am begging any & everyone, please help me.

Thanks for reading my post even if you can't help me.

All that I am trying to do is copy and burn the highest quality video possible for playback on a standard dvd player. I am open to any method possible to get this done, but my knowledge of which methods (i.e. DVD, VCD, SVCD, MiniDVD) will work for this is very limited.

This is the software that I am using and the problemst that I am having.

    I have two different computers:

    Desktop: DVD-ROM, CD R/RW

Primarily, I have tried the following softwares:

DVD Decrypter (Appears to rip fine, will not burn-file too large),
Nero Burning Rom(Multiple Problems in addition to it always wanting to re encode files that I have already encoding with other software),
Replicant 2 Full Version-purchased-(appears to be freeware in a pretty ski mask),
DVD Region + CSS (will not work with my version of Replicant 2 even after adding it to the program list),
    CloneDVD, DVDxCopy, FlaskMpeg,
Replicant Ripper (Will not rip from source dvd rom even with use of region + css),
Replicant 2 Video Encoder (Mux underflows-May not play propperly-msg),
VCD Easy (Multiple problems), Easy DVD...

Needless to say there were other problems to but I don't remember them all. Also other softwares.

Laptop: (CD R/RW & DVD R/RW-) COMBO DRIVE

I used pretty much the same softwares on this one with only slightly varying problems. I am aware that I can't burn a DVD on the desktop with the hardware that I have. I tried to burn VCD on the Desktop and I tried burn VCD and DVD on the Laptop.

I have been trying to create an encoded Mpeg 1 file for the VCD. I also tried creating an ISO file for the DVD. In addition, I have uninstalled all unrelated software and attempted to use them one at a time as well.

Thank you for all your help...
