    License for play movies

    Hi!

I download some video clips or movies. Then when I play it on Windows Media Player it gave me a messege error of License Acquisition, is like it's protected
Is ther's a way that I can play and see this type of videos

        To Floppy

If you re-read the post by "xpert", he/she appears to be dealing with a legitimate pay-to-own site - for which, I believe, I've already provided an appropriate response.

It does not appear to me that Rule #6 is applicable in this instance...

          Hi there

I dont dispute that your answer was appropriate to xperts question. Nothing in the post is alusive to where these files have originated from which as you say is not a breach of forum rules indeed...

My point is if indeed these files are from a genuine source (has you say) a license file would be bundled in the download... Thus not requiring WMP to ask or try to download any license or ask for one, Instead it will ask something like there is a license with this file would you like to update your license database?

          See my point?

          Good Things, eh?

You - "which as you say is not a breach of forum rules indeed..."

Then there's no reason to point to Rule #6...

            You - "See my point?"

Nope - And please don't turn this into another hijacked "chat" thread...

I apologise if bringing up rule 6 offends you and I thank you for bringing it to my attention, but I have yet to hear from the original poster xpert.

You see I may have rushed into it, mistakes hapen and I tried correcting it with no avail.

I have simply a doubt in my mind about the origin of these files.
Is it alright with you if I be so bold as to enquire? It is a right I have no?

I hope your satified with my apologie, otherwise the thread will become a part of a compendium of ways to[b]hijack[b] others posts.
