WMV file problem!

When i play a WMV file, i get a really messed up picture with lots of bright colors and stuff WTF is my problem. I use Windows media player 9, and here is a pic.............. please help

Have you tried playing the file in an alternate player such as BSplayer, or an earlier version of Windows Media Player (WMP Classic)?
