    WMV Keyframe issue

I did some reading, and I found out that the reason i cannot jump to different parts of this video i downloaded is because it is missing keyframes. The article I read had to do with MPEGs and DivX rips, but appeared to be the same problem. The solution they said to use was with VirtualDub, but this program doesnt support WMVs.
Anyone have any idea how i can fix this "keyframe" issue in a WMV file?

The reason you can't jump to a certain point in a wmv file is probably because it isn't indexed. You can index the file using the wmeditor utility that comes with microsoft's free windows media encoder 9.

      thanks for the great help!
But, it seems like my file is just corrupt, because wmeditor trys to save and index it, but i get a "Failed to Save" windows error.
