I have a Sony Digitsal Handycam in a Pal Dv format.
I moved to Canada from Australia and I have been going through this conversion thing and it is driving me nuts.
I just got a program DVStandards Converter v.1.5 which converts the Pal to NTSC.
BUT!! I want to play my movies on my DVD player over here. Region 1
It works ok but I am still trying to work out the settings as the conversion is not perfect for my liking.
If anyone knows the specs for the DVStandards Converter V.1.5 it would be helpful. I'm not up on the time resampling and how the interlace features work. Codecs etc.
And I do want to fine tune this. The playback on the DVD player is Jittery and not smoth at all. Quality is lost too.
I have tried puremotion as well but the sound is bad. I get a sharp bleep through the video.
Ive tried to capure this in Avi. and Mpeg formats
Or is there an easier way or programs that convert pal to ntsc for DVD burning?
