As you can see from my low count stars to the left - I'm a newbie!!
I have The Playa v. 0.6.5. but it doesn't show my divx movies in the right format on the TV. And on the monitor it shows only about 1/8 part of the movie in the upper left corner on the monitor. As I move The Playa away from this upper left corner, the size of the "movie output" on the screen is getting smaller.
And on the TV it doesn't help that I choose "Original Aspect" (I've encoded the movie in 16:9). The output on the TV-screen is still 4:3. But when I resize (or move The Playa) on my monitor, it changes the view on the TV accordingly.
What can the problem be?? Does the new Playa contain any bugs regarding this?? I have the latest drivers for my Matrox G450 DualHead, new VIA drivers and DirectX 8.0. I've encoded the movie using DivX 4.11 and MPEG Layer-3 Audio codec v. 1.9 (build 3.11).
Are there any new versions of The Playa coming soon??
Both the Windows Media Player 6.4 and 7.0 shows the movie in the right 16:9 format on the TV.
Please help someone......
