    Audio problem with divx files.

I've been watching divx video files for years and never had this problem, but all of the sudden, when i play a video file, the audio will sound slightly slow, but will not become off sync with the video. it skips about every second, and while being able to watch things, it is still pretty messed up. i cannot think of what i did to screw it up, but the only thing that i have done to my computer recently is installed a new Radeon 256mb video card, though, i am fairly sure that is not the cause because it was installed on another computer of mine that could run video files fine. i have uninstalled all of my codecs and re-installed the ACE Mega Codecs Pack, but no luck...
does anybody have any idea what i can do or try to fix this problem ? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, because i just cannot figure this out.
oh, and one more thing, i can play mp3s or other audio formats and they work perfect...it is only the audio in video files.

    thanks again.

I only install a codec when and if it's needed. To many ppl complain about codec packs. You could try Ffdshow or VLC (video lan). Vlc uses it's own codecs, is free and play most any file format.

        1) Are you running out of hard drive space?

        2) Have you tried defragmenting your hard drive (You should)?
