PAL and NTSC

I need an easyway of telling the difference between a NTSC DVD and a PAL DVD. I have some movies from Germany and one of the DVD's has a PAL label on it. The others do not and want to confirm what type of format that they are.

Is there sometype of utility that I can use to determine the format of the DVD

I'm fairly certain that all German DVDs are in PAL format...

Since you indicate that you have these DVDs in your possession, it should be simple enough to try to play them in a standalone player that plays ONLY either PAL or NTSC...
