VHS to digital

Hi, I am looking to find out the best way to convert a time-lapse VHS tape to digital through the computer. I have been looking online and there are several companies with different cards and software products. How do I know what is the best?

My applications are at work so cost is no object and resolution is my main priority. Any ideas? Or suggestions about where to look?

Leadtek have cards that specialize in security recorded tapes...

I have never used one....
