    Ogg ACM problem

    Hi,
two years ago I used to record movies from the TV on my computer and compress the video with DivX and the audio with a Ogg ACM codec. In those days the operating system on my computer was Windows ME.

Now I tried to play those movies again and istalled the same Ogg and Divx codecs on my computer. Now the ogg coded crashes on every run no matter which player I use (Media Player, the Playa, VirtualDub)....

I've always used DivX 4.12 and the Ogg codec that was under the version number 0.3.1. Now I have Win2000.
I've also tried the codec pack by "Tobias", which does not produce any sound.
One other codec that I tried was authored by a mystical japanese guy called "freddie fish", but his codec produced only a cacophony.

GSpot shows that the used codec in the stream is ogg_vorbis_3_plus (0x6771) 64kb mono.

Is there any hope that I might be able to play those movies again on this system?
Working...
