Can't fast forward/rewind on samsung divx player!

    Can't fast forward/rewind on samsung
    divx player!

It happens with an avi file. The file
    was recorded in a no-multisession cd-r
and it was compressed through the Xvid codec with a Variable BitRate audio track. I decided to recompress it into a DivX 5.1.1 file with a Constant
BitRate audio track. Well, the problem
    still goes on!

However, if i compressed a dvd into a
Divx 5.1.1 movie file with a Constant
    BitRate audio track, the problem
    dissapeared!

Also I met many other samsung users with the same problem, but the Samsung Support Service told me that the problem is quite usual and that there isn't any way to fix it!

Anybody can help me? Thanks a lot!

    1) Load the original .AVI video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

I gather that you did NOT create this DivX-compressed .AVI video of a commercial movie - because if you had, the audio would not be 10 minutes shorter than the video (a typical sign of an incomplete download)...
