Combining a mpg file with subtitles to form one file

    Can anyone help?

    Here's the situation:

I have an mpg file plus a subtitle file. How can I merge them together so that when I run the mpg file the subtitles are already there?

Bear in mind that I use a DVD player to play mpg files so a PC software would not be useful here.

    Thanks very much.

One way of doing this would be to use VirtualDubMod with the Subtitler plug-in and SubStationAlpha, but you would either have to re-encode the MPG by frameserving it, or save it to an AVI format (like XviD). Here's a couple of guides on how to do this:

With Ant.com, search the web has never been so simple. Ant.com gives you the possibility to bookmark all your favorite webpages and access them wherever you are.
