    Ligos and Sony mpeg-2 decoder?

    Hi,

can somebody please help me. TMPGenc supports with VFAPI also Cyberlink, Ligos and Sony mpeg-2 decoders. Well, Cyberlink is clear -lol- but what about Ligos and Sony decoders...which software brings them along? What about the quality differences and are they causing any problems with other decoders/encoders?

    greetings

They are plugins. What do you mean by your question?

      Hey Setarip,

      yeah y´right...plugins....

I found this stated in TMPGenc reversion history:

"Now TMPGEnc has priority of MPEG-2 decoders at VFAPI plug-in priority setting. The priority is fixed and can not be changed by user as follows: 1:Sony 2:Ligos 3:CyberLink"

So for Cyberlink its quite obvious to me to install some PowerDVD or other Cyberlink video playing or editing software. But i can´t find any related Sony and Ligos software.

      thanx for helping!

      regards
