problems with aspect ratio and size

Yesterday I reinstalled windows xp. After that I installed nimo codec package and then I should sit down and watch a movie. When I did this I found out that all my movies had become 640x480 and non anamorphic. When I opened them in virtual dub the size and aspect where correct. then today when I woke up it hit me that I should uninstall nimo and then it work. Which codec (or something) is the problem. Does anyone know this?
    Plz help me

Why not just uninstall the Nimo codec and install 3.11a, followed by 4.x (Banning it from playing 3.11a contents)/5.x(Bugged by automatically playing 3.11a contents without the permission of the user)? That should get you started happier.

As I said I did uninstall the package and then it worked but I have two moviw with an audio source virtual dub marks as unknown=( but when I install nimo I get sound on thoose movies to. This is the reason I need to have nimo. But I did it a little bit different and then installed nimo again and it worked=)
      It's strange.

Probably those two movies had ac3 sound track in them. Installing the appropriate codec for it should do the trick.

It is the bicubic filter. See my other post about how to disable it

Possibly. Why not open the file in Virtualdub and have a look at its properties? That should clarify a few things.

I did that when I didn't have nimo installed and then virtualdub said unknown. But know when I have it installed and everything is working it says DivX WMA Windows Media Compressor.
But as I said it's working know so there is no problem.

Installing 3.11a will enable you to listen to DivX/WMA audio.
