sonic DVDit problem

I have created a scrolling text movie in Macromedia Flash and exported it as an .avi, however when i come to import it into DVDit and play it back the text is illegible and very poor quality, it is not a resizing issue as i have tried various sizes (incl. DVDit's recommended size)

Does anybody have any ideas what i can do, or know another simple way to create scrolling text (credits style)
