xvid playback issues

I downloaded a Xvid movie using BitComet (torrent). After complete download, the target file has a wiered name.

Analyze.This.DVDRip-XviD.OPT!V!D.mkv

I havent seen this extension before. It played only on media player classic6.4.8.1 without sound, and that too only after a warning that some pins could not be rendered. After that message the video playback is flawless, but no sound...

What do you think the problem is...?
