    MKV and VDubMod

I'm trying to seperate the different streams in an mkv file into an avi, mp3 and sub file.

(I personally like the MKV format, but the ppl I am giving this file to are very very computer illiterate and would rather have a simple avi file)

I normally take the MKV file, load it in VdubMod and extract the 3 streams that I need. I then merge the sound and video using Vdub and then put the subs into the avi permanently using VobSubMux.

Normally this works well, but I have an MKV file that gives me the following error after being parsed:

    Matroska stream 1 doesn't have a samplerate.

    Any help?
    Thanks

Your MKV likely contains Realvideo and cant be converted to AVI because of that
