    Visual Lag Issues

First time post looking for some help.

I can reproduce this problem in Windows Media Player 10, Windows Media Player 9, WinAmp, Zoom Player, PowerDVD.

Whenever I watch a video be it in .avi, .mpg, .wmv, I have no problem watching it through. However, when I try to watch something immediately after (or within say 30 min to an hour), my system will slow down visually (including cursor and taskbar coming up), but audio remains unaffected.

I'm running on 1GB of RAM, but I don't believe this to be an issue as my other computer running 512MB RAM does not experience this problem. Any help would be appreciated greatly as it's very annoying to have to reset my computer in order to watch something.

Sounds as its a "heat" issue, like your computer is overheating.

AsusProbe reads 105 F on the CPU and 93 F on the MB while my case sensor is reading in the high 70s and low 80s.

Everything is normal once I turn off the video that I'm watching.

      Any other ideas?

EDIT: If I alternate between Windows Media Player and Zoom Player, I don't get the issue. Strange but not that big a deal. Much better than resetting between videos.
