    DVD Audio Encoding

Hello all I'm new to all of this so any suggestions would help alot.

I'm looking for any kind of script or utility to compress the audio on DVD a back-up. I would like to compress it before I take it into DVD shrink, easier is better because I'm a newbie but I can follow steps if it is not that simple.

    Anyways thanks oodles in advance!

Sorry for not being more clear but I want it more compressed. I'm trying to backup "The Mummy," but I want to compress the extras a ton but not get rid of them completely; and maybe the stereo track also.

      Thanks for the reply

Extract audio separately, then transcode to a lower bitrate.
        Ffmpeggui would work.
Substitute the compressed audio for the current ones.
I have no idea if you can do this in dvdshrink.

Ok, thanks a bunch of your help.
But I have one more question how do I remux it without messing with the structure. I know, I know I'm a pickie person.

          thanks again!

Remux during authoring, or use tmpgenc mpeg tools, simple remux, or muxman, or similar.
