System32 error while installing XviD codec

when I go to install the XviD codec, I get an error message stating:

    "C://WINDOWS/System32/xvid.ax
An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
    DeleteFile failed; code 5
    Access is denied."

I tried deleting the file manually and it said access is denied but I am the computer administrator. Can someone please help? I really need this codec.

i assume you need xvid so you can play an xvid file. if so, downloads & install the latest (alpha) version of "ffdshow"...
