divx/ffdshow
I sometimes come across some mpegs that the video plays fine in divx, but it will lock and freeze once I close it... it will also play no sound... however, it works will the ffdshow installed... I think the ffdshow is too laggy and buggy and if I install ffdshow it will load for ALL my mpegs.... but avicodec shows me ...

It plays other videos with the same setting... but this perticular video and many others only work with ffdshow. without it it will freeze my player (divx, wmp, etc.) and use 100% cpu usage. Any ideas how to play these fine without needing to use ffdshow? You can see I would need to enable ffdshow on all mpg1/2 files and I dont want this....
