    Camtasia Studio VTM compression question- most universal on all PC’s

    Which compression codec option would work on all versions of Windows Media Player without forcing people to have to update there windows media player?
    I would think the mpeg1 would be the best one for windows media player but there is also an mpeg2.

    Example:


    Note: This would be a small tutorial put on a disk for someone.

    mpeg1. It should play natively in any version of windows from 3.0 up, as well as Mac.

        Yes, I had the same problem, and the best results are with mpeg1!
