No Color in TV screen (via tv-out)

Hi, I've just bought an S-Video(4 pins) to composite(aka RCA jack) cable.

The problem is that the TV output is only monochrome.
When I change the setiing from S-Video to Composite, the TV screen goes color a split second and poof...it goes blank. Now I'm sure it's not the cable's fault.

So, is there anyone out there with any idea how to solve my problem...I need YOU.

It could be you are trying to watch an NTSC transmission on a PAL television or you may have to select the right cableing method in your video card settings.

Hmm..didn't work.
I've tried changing the TV setting from PAL to SECAM to NTSC, the best pic is black n white.
