Divx Convertor and Dr Divx other options?

Ok so I had the trial of Dr. Divx and it worked great, I could encode AVI's just fine. Wel silly me I didn't purchase it as I figured i would wait until I needed it. Well now I need it and you can't purchase it anymore. The new convertor sucks, it would encode AVI's and doesnt provide harldy the options of Dr. Divx.

So is there a way I can still purchase a license for dr. divx? or is there another similar program out there?

PocketDivX does a decent job. Not only for portable devices, there's a PC option.
