Premiere Audio Compression Help?? MP3

Hi,

I have a Pinnacle Studio Deluxe, Analog and digital capture card, i have been capturing stuff from my camera and VCR

anyway I use premiere 6 and am able to compress video using divx 5. and audio is uncompressed...

I dont use divx yet because uncompressed make using divx useless!!! haha

I am currently using MPEG which is basicly mp3 and mpeg2!

I want to use DIVX and mp3 compression using premiere

Does anyone know where I can find a mp3 type codec which is usable in premiere 6?

it would be better to save the vid as "uncompressed avi"
and the audio as uncompressed wav44100
and then convert using virtual dub.unless you can frameserve to a program that does divx..when encoding with premier it comes out like crap.
for example..if you make an mpeg1 with premier verses saving as uncompressed and then encoding with tmpg(or frameserving to tmpg) as mpeg1 the tmpg one will be MUCH better.
