AC3 codec (NIMO) problem XP

Hello,

i have a problem with the ac3 codec on my XP-compaq laptop.
After installing the nimo codec pack the ac3 sound works perfect but i can't play dvd video's anymore.

Unstalling the codec doesn't help, only doing a system restore helps.

If I install the ac3 codec only in the nimo pack, and nothing else, it works (both DVD and divx with ac3), but the sound is at about half speed.

Anyone got an idea?

PS:
On my windows 2000 desktop the driver works fine.
