    dvd architect unwanted rendering

hi there - wondering if anyone can shed light on a small issue in dvd architect. when i have finished a project and i go to "prepare and burn", the program wants to compress (render) every file ive used in the project. however, my mpeg and audio file settings seem to comply with the requirements outlined in the help menu - still the program wants to convert everything, which takes ages. my mpeg encode parameters are detailed below.
    cheers

From the main menu select: File --> Optimize DVD
A window will open listing all the DVD items to prepare - menus, video, sound, etc.
When you click on a video item you should see the "Recompress video" check box cleared or checked. If it's checked try to uncheck it. However, if it is checked it usually means that the application thinks it requires recompression.
It may be that you started an NTSC project but the video is PAL.
It may also be that you have a wide/tv video issue.

Anyway - even without the recompression, the process of compiling the DVD should take a while (and a lot of disk space) because the video, sound and menu still have to be prepared - processed and laid out to DVD layout (all the VOB sh-i-t, folders, file size and such) - before it can be burned to the DVD media.
