    best codecs?

    hey...

i was wondering if anyone could help me:
i've tried a lot of things some time ago but i haven't found the right thing for me...

    here's the deal:
    i got a new dv-cam, got adobe premiere 7...
    now i need codecs:
    * they should convert the videos into a suitable size
    * the exported file should be burn-able (nero) without long encoding sessions (must be mpeg2?)
    * the exported file should have a pretty good resolution (tv/pc showing)

    hope i got everything right.
hope to hear from you guys

    thanks,

perhaps it's an encoder you're looking for. mainconcept or tmpgenc plus
